How to connect ur laptop to ur plasma?

A few mths ago when i got my 42' plasma, one idiot told me to connect the vga cable/svideo cable and toggle the 1, 2 screen in the window properties in order to view the laptop screen in my tv. Really idiot... anyway jus follow my steps to have the below result:


-Buy a vga 15pin cable for 8$+
-Buy a 3.5mm(Laptop headphone jack) to RCA cable for 5$+

The above 2 wires allows u to output the video and audio directly from ur tv from ur laptop, lastly connect both wire from ur tv to laptop and press fn + F7 or F5 on ur keyboard to adjust the screen. The same goes for ur cpu...
